IHG and Air Aroma Charity Golf Tournament 2011

IHG and Air Aroma Charity Golf Tournament 2011

November 7 marked a successful result for Air Aroma and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) with the completion of the 2nd IHG Shanghai Cluster Hope Classic Charity Golf tournament. The event was held at Lake Malaren Golf Club Shanghai and was undertaken to raise awareness and money for underprivileged children in China.

IHG donated funds to Project Hope to build Hope Schools. Project Hope is a public welfare undertaking that assists dropout students and those at risk of dropping out to continue schooling in China’s rural and poverty-stricken areas.

As a key sponsor of the event Air Aroma helped make this event possible as well donating to the fantastic cause. David Shackleton Vice President of Operations, East China at IHG Asia Pacific sent his personal thanks to Air Aroma for their support.

“On behalf of IHG, the organizing committee and IHG’s Shanghai cluster hotels featuring the InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Indigo and Holiday Inn brands I would like to thank you sincerely for your fantastic support of the 2011 Hope Golf tournament. Thanks to your help and gracious donation we managed to raise over RMB 1 million. We could not have raised these funds without your generosity and kindness.” Air Aroma International and Air Aroma China are proud to support this great cause and look forward to working with IHG next year.
